The cast list above, was ideal, all the actors were suited to their roles, until Sam Morris told the group that his other school work was more important and had to be his main priority over our Media Group work. He told us close to the first shooting date. This made us panic because it was a week until filming, therefore we had to find a new 'Chris'!I instantly thought of Adam Holland, he is about the same height as the character 'Chris' would be, but with a dark Ginger hair colour which was the only difference.
Debbie Sweet playing the part of Rose, is very keen and I know she will put her heart and sole into it.
As for the Boss, who we originally thought could be played by our headteacher Mr Leach, this part is now being played by Mr Frost who fits the role excellently.
Unfortunately our film will be too long with the boss scenes included, so we decided to delete them. This was agreed on the 8th February 2012.

We also created a costume list to see what our characters would wear. Chris a 19 year old carer for his mum, Rose. He has a full time job at a large company. He wears dull grey and black suits, without the jacket, one which challenges the conventions of a 19 year old, who would normally be up to speed with the latest fashion and would go out every night. But for Chris, he is the complete opposite, he just looks after himself and that shows through to his clothes, he is very dull.
This is a picture of the kind of suit that Chris wears, with a similar hair style, flat and short but without the jacket.
Rose is a 40 year old woman with a medical condition affecting her lungs, she doesn't leave the house. The only time she leaves the house is to go in the garden to look after the rose bushes planted by Billy. She is wearing a blue dressing grown and carrying a walking stick for support.
This challenges most conventions about 40 year old woman who would be concentrating in her work and always rushing about i.e. going to work and looking after the house, making it tidy and cooking.
